 Optimizing work-rest schedule for construction rebar workers in hot and humid environment

Thank you for your continuous support in construction health and safety. Further to the production of an Executive Summary for our research project "Experimental Research on Health and Safety Measures for Working in Hot Weather", we take pleasure to forward another recently accepted paper “Optimizing work-rest schedule for construction workers in hot and humid environment” for your reference and retention. 

Based on our computed heat tolerance time, optimal recovery time, and simulated results of 10000 workers by means of Monte Carlo Simulation technique, we conclude by proposing a 15 min break at 10:00 am in the morning, and having a 20min break at 2:55 pm in the afternoon. The proposed schedule should maximize productive time and at the same time safeguard the health and safety of rebar workers.
